About Toronto.

So, the Toronto Film Festival has served most of us cinephiles as the ideal barometer for determining what the climate of cinema feels like these days. Well, the consensus is in and the last festival has been deemed the most terrible one yet. No work of relevance was felt, made or seen(screened). Time for change. Despite what Dustin Hoffman keeps complaining about regarding the cancer of the digital age for film- I tend to see opportunity knocking. The glass is half full, not half empty... You just have to be thirsty enough to see this clearly. To all of those miserable skeptics - an elephant is sitting in a room. Bye.
