#LOCKDOWNNEVERENDING

I walked into a local candy store and walked up to the ATM machine to get myself a Diet Coke and got dirty looks for not having a face mask wrapped around my face. I was about 30 ft away from any human idiot in the store. I think that Elon Musk is right and it's time for us to stop all this crap already.

There's no place to hide... No Place to go ... Meg Tilly says it best right here ...

Karen: The purist voice in music ever.

"Not enough people in this world are happy."

oh, restless quarantine

“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”

Free America Now

My dearest sweetheart Janey Publique, can martial law be declared in the US? On a federal level, only the president has the power to impose martial law. In each state the governor has the right to impose martial law within the borders of the state. ... In United States law, martial law is limited by 6 feet of 'social distancing' by several court decisions handed down between the American Civil War, World War II and local CVS pharmacy customer lines. FREE AMERICA NOW you fake media bastards.

DAY 41

RECKLESS

FINALLY now on iTunes! One of my all-time favorite love story's -RECKLESS. Best love story for this reckless world's quarantine. Awesome 80's soundtrack too! As a kid, I think I watched this movie every other day on VHS, waiting for the climax(climactic) motorcycle hallway scene. Vroom...Vroom...
bye.

When a tree falls

I don't think that the government (i.e. Deep State) ever wants to let us get back to normal again.
Until November. We need a disinfected surprise third-party candidate to appear now and shake things up. Probably should be a woman, too. bye.

Guernica 83 years later (today) #neverforget

    April 26, 1937 Bombing
(photo I took at Guernica's Peace Museum)
In the Basque city of Guernica, the 83 anniversary of the bombing is celebrated, which on April 26, 1937 took the lives of several hundred people and almost wiped the city off the face of the Earth by Franco (who asked Hitler to do him the favor using German bomber planes hourly). This year, the tribute takes place without an audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Today marks the 83rd anniversary of the destruction of Guernica by Facist forces. Lest we ever forget. The sirens you hear in the video (I've embedded below) are the exact sirens that warned the Basques to hide in their basements as the German planes approached. The 'Museum Of Peace' in Guernica is too profound to describe and I cried there as I listened to the audio re-enactment exhibition of the bombing, that takes place in a staged bedroom of a boy who hid with his mother as all life above him was bombed to ruins (including the elementary school) with the emergency sirens blaring with no place to go. A facist government systematically destroying its own people- a pandemic of its own very kind in that era. bye...
Tribute from a 'social distanced' balcony Guernica today

#LIBERATENYC

When was the guillotine film splicer invented?

Razor blades were used to edit video tape in the early days of video editing for broadcast, especially 2-inch quad and 1-inch tape. The cut had to be made on a diagonal to avoid a roll bar. Some people (like mua, aka Jane P) were very good at it. Linear editing was made by dubbing from tape to tape which lost a generation. CMX was introduced in 1971, the first non-linear editing system, and razor blade cutting was phased out.
guillotine (/ˈɡɪlətiːn/ GHIL-ə-teen, also US: /ˈɡiːətiːn/ GHEE-, French: [ɡijɔtin] is an apparatus designed for efficiently carrying out film executions by beheading. The device consists of a tall, upright frame with a weighted and angled blade suspended at the top. You'd buy clear sprocketed editing tape for this apparatus at 'Rafiks' store in Manhattan.

Saturday. Wednesday. Sunday. Everyday. Everyday is the same day, nowadays. bye.

The Gambler

On a warm springs's eve
On a train bound for nowhere
I met up with the gambler
We were both too tired to sleep
So we took turns a-starin'
Out the window at the darkness
The pandemic's boredom overtook us,
And he began to speak
He said, "Son, I've made a life
Out of readin' people's face masks
Knowin' where the virus was
By the way they held their eyes
So if you don't mind me sayin'
I can see you're out of CHINESE CORONAS
For a taste of your whiskey
I'll give you some social distancing advice"
So I handed him my sanitizers
And he drank down my last swallow
Then he bummed my last crusty face mask
And asked me for a light
And the night got deathly quiet
And his faced lost all expression
He said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away

Know when to run...

now bye.

In the beginning
Good always overpowered the evils
Of all man's sins...
But in time
The nations grew weak
And our cities fell to slums
While evil stood strong
In the dusts of hell
Lurked the blackest of hates
For he whom they feared
Awaited them...
Now many many life times later
Lay destroyed beaten beaten down
Only corpses of rebels
Ashes of dreams
And

Free Bird

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on, now
Cause there's too many places I've got to see
But, if I stayed here with you, girl
Things just couldn't be the same
Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you can not change
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
And this bird you can not change
And this bird you can not change
Lord knows, I can't change
Bye, bye, baby, it's been a sweet love
Though this feeling I can't change
But please don't take it so badly
Cause Lord knows I'm to blame
But, if I stayed here with you, girl
Things just couldn't be the same
Cause

rip Lee Fierro

Fierro who starred in the original "Jaws" returned to the role in 1987′s “Jaws: The Revenge.” Fierro, who worked for decades with Island Theatre Workshop on the Massachusetts island ― where “Jaws” was shot ― resided at an assisted living facility in Ohio, where she died on Saturday, the Martha's Vineyard Times reported. Fierro was known in Martha’s Vineyard for teaching drama to more than 1,000 children, artistic director Kevin Ryan told the local newspaper. But she earned her place in cinema lore with one swipe of her hand. Local novelist Nicki Galland said Fierro was “tickled” by the recognition and recounted an anecdote Fierro told her about Spielberg’s directing.
“Lee, you’re not on Broadway, tone it down,” the famed filmmaker was said to have told Fierro.

Kurt Day.

Kurdt(sic) died today. I will never forget the impact of the news broadcast as I entered into my apartment that afternoon. I was in a state of absolute shock and sadness, staring at what seemed to be an entire generation falling head-first into a world-wide mass depression. Even hearing crazy ass Courtney reading on the grass surrounded by his fans his goodbye note. Horrible. You're never forgotten Kurdt. Even running into Michael Stipe a few months ago, you were the singular topic of conversation for us. Michael reminding me with a happy frown- "...he was just so, so sweet."  RIP KURDT. I hope you visit us often. You were too good and too sensitive for this morally impoverished planet. Take things light now. Bye.

Creative and Rational fusing landscapes: TRUE ORDER

The Aquanet Garage

We cannot prove that TIME exists. Just like FAITH, you just gotta believe. But when it comes to quarantined photo album digs in order to kill time, TIME captured in a 35mm photograph can exist as a preserved hardcopy exhibit of another time and place. My AQUANET rock n roll pre-hardcore music years...
