Kurt Cobain's home’s Lake Washington landscape.

ON LOCATION, KURT COBAIN HOME, LAKE WASHINGTON/EXTERIORS SHOOT: To call this place reclusive, despite the fact that it's burrowed deep within wild bushes, giant rocks (aka boulders), and evergreen trees is an understatement. Kurt could not have purchased a better real estate property than this one for the kind of privacy that he craved(aka needed) from our world. You stand there in the front or back of his house, think about those 'last days' of his all alone and you feel that lake's breezy air that blows at the back of your head and Kurt's tragic life story just makes crazy sense all at once. Brutally Sad. Again, he couldn't have purchased a better property than this before his departure .. . ..

Nothing Gold Can Stay.

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
                         by Robert Frost

R.I.P. Bruce and Brandon Lee (father and son)

As a shy and reclusive pre-teen, Bruce Lee became my childhood idol. I was obsessed with him. I taught myself nunchucks (double), I read all of his published philosophy books and covered my room with collages of posters and magazine cut-outs from his movies and greatest moments. It was not until I discovered a pair of drum sticks at a local yard sale that I was able to let go of Bruce Lee and transfer my energy into teaching myself musical instruments, musical writing and soundscape composition. To this day, I find that physical movement, music and the language of film editing to be all relative kin with the experience of a creative 'flow '.

Bruce Lee - "A learned man once went to a Zen teacher to inquire about Zen. As the Zen teacher explained, the learned man would frequently interrupt him with remarks like, "Oh, yes, we have that too…" and so on. Finally the Zen teacher stopped talking and began to serve tea to the learned man. He poured the cup full, then kept pouring until the cup overflowed. "Enough!" the learned man once more interrupted. "No more can go into the cup!". "Indeed, I see" answered the Zen teacher. " If you do not first empty your cup, how can you taste my cup of tea?" bye. and p.s. ...

'Chubby Satan Soldier'

The Game of Life explained by Kenny Rogers.

On a warm summer's eve
On a train bound for nowhere
I met up with the gambler
We were both too tired to sleep
So we took turns a-starin'
Out the window at the darkness
The boredom overtook us,
And he began to speak
He said, "Son, I've made a life
Out of readin' people's faces
Knowin' what the cards were
By the way they held their eyes
So if you don't mind me sayin'
I can see you're out of aces
For a taste of your whiskey
I'll give you some advice"
So I handed him my bottle
And he drank down my last swallow
Then he bummed a cigarette
And asked me for a light
And the night got deathly quiet
And his faced lost all expression
He said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when…

bye.

Actor Jesse Eisenberg- from the Bronx

Born in the Bronx, actor Jesse Eisenberg is one of Bronx's jewels.
WIKIPEDIA has Jesse listed as being born in Queens, but he was born in the Bronx and lived first on Jerome Avenue. Then his folks moved to Forest Hills, Queens. FACTS.
