Bug Zappers.

Dana Loesch's new book released this week, 'FLYOVER NATION' is like a companion guide to Barbara Kingsolver's 'PRODIGAL SUMMER.'  They are both literary odes of praise and prose to the great outdoors and our Ozarks and Appalachian countrysides. I highly recommend both reads although I feel that Dana's 'Hands Off My Gun' is her stronger work (and btw Kingsolver can do no wrong, in my opinion). And both of these books include outdoor bug zappers in them, some of these nasty bugs can fly and the others simply try to run states and nations. That said, both of these bugs can be zapped. That killing light attracts people, even some good people. Bye.

Harry S. Truman once said, "If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog."
