Listening to Bret Easton Ellis on his podcast. He's pretty good. If anything, it's admirable just how busy the guy appears to be. He's a great writer. I had no idea, until this week, that he was running his own podcast too! No, it's not as good as Laura Ingraham's podcast, but what the heck. It was sad to hear Bret describe how television programs are slowly replacing movies and that corporate distribution companies are discouraging -and ignoring- most filmmaker visions since they view minimal profit value in a 90 minute film vs. an 8 season tv series. Makes me really appreciate the fact that I value short film poems over feature length works. Like Plath, one 'The Bell Jar' is enough as long as you depart with an 'Ariel.' bye.
