Not easy to try to create drawings with pen, chalk and blotter ink that looks like a British actress who is not currently in the country at the moment. I am pulling it off though. I am excited at how my book is coming out design-wise. All Smith-Corona typed text, all hand drawings on crap paper, all of a narrative equivalent to something theatrical while remaining true to the roots of English literature. I can't wait to get the reviews on this one.
