Don't Push Pause

Don't Push Pause is a spectacular new podcast that really digs deep into film analysis, theory and fun tidbits of classic works of American cinema. The two podcasters who run this operation really know their material and work well as a duo of cinephile enthusiasts. Don't Push Pause makes me fall right back in love with movies all over again. The podcast covering DELIVERANCE made me miss my personal meeting with actor Burt Reynolds (rip) in NYC a few months before he died, and damn if I knew that Ronny Cox was double-jointed in real life (hence the broken arm scene), and that the sheriff at the end of the movie was actually the novelist and screenwriter of DELIVERANCE, James Dickey!  I must say that this podcast is one of the best ones around regarding film studies, and a reminder that there is really no need for anyone to enroll into film school anymore now that the wonderful world of podcasts and youtube technology has taken over all of nature's streams.
