Diamonds are forever (Diamond Dave is too).

Last night I dreamt that David Lee Roth stage dove into a crowd during a Van Halen Foxwoods resort performance and no one caught him. The crowd dispersed when he hit the ground. Then, he was assassinated with semi-automatic rifles by a pack of local homegrown radicalized terrorists. The rapid fire shots were popping louder than Eddie's whaling guitar solo on the song, 'JUMP ' - and DLR looked really shocked and stunned that he was going out like this, killed by terrorists at the cheesy resort. The terrorists were strictly focused only on shooting at him, everyone else was allowed to get away via the fire exit and he was lying on the ground trying his best to pose 'selfie style' for the surveillance cameras he noticed on the walls of the room as he was on the floor dying. I remember thinking that he had really made history now. And, that Donald Trump would probably start using his old song 'Unchained' at his remaining rallies and describe Roth as an ole pal of his and Roth as an immigrant New Yawker when he worked in NYC as an EMS ambulance driver after the Halen break up (true fact). I will try not to have another dream like this tonight. That said, 'Unchained' is really a great song. Seriously. I think I had the dream because I heard on the news that Sammy Hagar is almost 70 and wants to make peace with the Halen brothers after smearing them for years in books and on interviews. Must be nice to be able to cause so much damage in peoples lives and then get old and say, 'ya know what, sorry. I was being bitchy.' That said, it does seem that Roth has kept himself very real over the years, never shifting his honest big mouth and ego. He does appear to be the bigger person out of them all. Unfortunately, he did not survive the shooting in the dream. But, it was only a dream I must keep telling myself.

Bye.
