ON LOCATION, KURT COBAIN HOME, LAKE WASHINGTON/EXTERIORS SHOOT: To call this place reclusive, despite the fact that it's burrowed deep within wild bushes, giant rocks (aka boulders), and evergreen trees is an understatement. Kurt could not have purchased a better real estate property than this one for the kind of privacy that he craved(aka needed) from our world. You stand there in the front or back of his house, think about those 'last days' of his all alone and you feel that lake's breezy air that blows at the back of your head and Kurt's tragic life story just makes crazy sense all at once. Brutally Sad. Again, he couldn't have purchased a better property than this before his departure .. .

R.I.P. Bruce and Brandon Lee (father and son)
As a shy and reclusive pre-teen, Bruce Lee became my childhood idol. I was obsessed with him. I taught myself nunchucks (double), I read all of his published philosophy books and covered my room with collages of posters and magazine cut-outs from his movies and greatest moments. It was not until I discovered a pair of drum sticks at a local yard sale that I was able to let go of Bruce Lee and transfer my energy into teaching myself musical instruments, musical writing and soundscape composition. To this day, I find that physical movement, music and the language of film editing to be all relative kin with the experience of a creative 'flow '.
