That used to be my daily life (photo above). 

So glad that chapter of my life, as a touring musician, is over. To this day, I still can't believe, or comprehend, how I managed to pack my giant kit into my used run down hatchback gray Chevette with my drums back in those days (the 90's).

Later this month Mark Morton's (guitarist for the band, Lamb of God) biography book 'Desolation' is being released in June 2024, in which Mark talks about our time as musicians together in our band Killing Cycle, before he joined Lamb of God. Looking foward to the book !

Having a great week slowly putting together an old classic plastic hobby model sent to me by Bob Lazar & made by TESTORS, and designed by the brilliant, Bob. Back in the good ole days, malls always had Hobby Shops with plastic models (usually cars and planes). Bob Lazar infamously was employed by Los Alamos and then S4 (Area 51) as a physicist, employed by the U.S. government to ‘reverse engineer’ an archeological dig discovered extraterrestrial craft. This model is an exact replica of what Bob reported to have worked on at S4. Bob Lazar has an incredible life story, and this model has truly changed my imagination of what is out there in the world - particularly regarding the physical scale & perspective dimensions. R.I.P. Steve Albini

Steve NEVER took royalties from bands' albums that he recorded and produced- only one single payment for service rendered. Steve was the definition of 'pure ethics' in the music business. Steve was the real deal. Died today at 61 years young from a heart attack... life is just crazy. Tell those you love that you love them, never know when your number is up. RIP Steve.

Rolling Stones LIVE at MetLife Stadium 2024 !

 I got myself a ticket for this 2024 Rolling Stones at the MetLife Stadium show in order to get it off from my bucket list, as Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have both turned 80 years old and are still performing. Well, I had never really been a Rolling Stones fan in my life (despite routinely playing covers of their music for years in the club scene as a drummer), but this show now stands on the top 5 best concerts in my life. The Rolling Stones blew me f#@% away!!! Jagger, Richards and Woods had total command of the stage, and Steve Jordan inspired me, as he has always been one of my top favorite drummers ever (I studied his drum playing tonight using military binoculars) . I left the stadium speechless at just how authentic, raw and pure real rock and roll this legendary band truly are. I now truly feel that The Rolling Stones are THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND THAT HAS LIVED. Period!

Sad after 100 years, SAM ASH are all closing :(

I remember the day -- as if it were yesterday-- when my street tough grandmother drove me to the notorious 48th street Sam Ash and Manny's music stores to buy me my first pair of Paiste cymbals (Crash and Ride). Miss her to this day, as tough as she was- she was one true authentic Bronx woman.
