So I watched the movie, 'The King Of Staten Island' last night and it was hilarious and really captured the essence of Staten Island suburbia folks. I never have had any real opinion on Pete Davidson prior to seeing this movie, but I now do see his special charm. Terrible that Davidson's firefighter father died in the Twin Towers attack on 9-11, and Pete appears to be the walking epitome of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) incarnate. This is a great semi-autobiographical movie, and I hope Pete decides to stick around and live for more fun movies to share with the world- if anything for his own healthy mental health catharsis. Stand-up comedian Bill Burr was perfectly cast as the story's parental interloper, too- what a hilarious campy handlebar mustache!! - way too funny. bye.
