HANNA WILKE-ing myself out

I adore Hanna Wilke . That must be known.

R.I.P. Hanna.

To Your Brain a Mental Note: To all of you that do not know (YES YOU SILLY), Hanna Wilke, MISS WILKE, died of cancer in 1993 and she documented her physical body and bald head as it was being corrupted by that killing illness. She was a brilliant artist and she never stopped delivering and executing the creative process for others, i.e. The World.

THIS IS THE END OF YOUR MENTAL NOTE TODAY: BYE.

i/he/me: is sorting right now thru collected materials for a potential new film & performance while teasing around the internet with my/his SPOTIFY ?

p.s. and listening to Sibylle Baier's "THE END" at this very moment. SPOTIFY is the very best resource invented for personal music discovery via online streaming. Sean Parker is truly an innovative genius with his mind focused on the beating pulse of the general public and away from his FBI hacking-into computers childhood glory days. I love SPOTIFY. BYE

and YES, I'm trying to stay focused on creating a new film and performance idea while a film called "FROZEN" plays on NETFLIX in the background and SPOTIFY is blaring on my headphones (which are lying on the editing desk). Someone in the movie just broke both his legs. I gotta run (no pun intended)....BYE AGAIN!

Essay commenting on the L'AMOUR FOU of "THE COLORS OF SPRING"

Below is an essay that was recommended to me by a woman who experienced my live performance of my new film "THE COLORS OF SPRING" and said that it had reminded her of the French surrealist art movement called, L'AMOUR FOU (mad love)...

bye

OH. WAIT. THIS HAPPENED TO ME TODAY... I WATCHED MY FEATURE FILM ON MY IPOD TODAY AND WAS ABLE TO RE-THINK THE ESSENCE OF THAT WORK. I HAD NEEDED SOME DISTANCE. I KEPT AWAY FROM THE FILM FOR A FEW MONTHS, AND I AM NOW READY TO GO AT IT AGAIN. I MADE MENTAL NOTES. I WILL NOW MOVE FOWARD WITH WRITING THOSE NOTES DOWN ONTO PAPER AND WILL EXECUTE THEM.

MONO NO AWARE (email & photo from the balcony of my performance) 12-03-2011

Joey,

Where do I begin?

It was such a pleasure having you be a part of the festival this year.

The dust is finally settling from this past weekend. I just wanted to say thank you again for actualizing such a wonderful vision and sharing it with everyone this year at MONO NO AWARE V.

For us, it was a monumental year full of incredible performances. Everyone that I spoke to loved your performance. Someone came up to me and was saying how powerful they felt the white light was when it shown on its own. Framing the performers - as if cinema had come to life.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

'Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world.'  - Godard.

And this statement by Godard has nothing to do with what happily inspires any person to go and seek(HUNT DOWN) out odd and now unavailable film soundtracks and film scores and other strange gem oddities at any rare and vinyl 33rpm exclusive record shop. bye.
