Hi J...
This is sort of a moot issue. But I'll list the details anyhow.
I noted your projector appears to be abnormally
low in terms of light output.
So I took a closer look at the bulb. It looked to be aiming
in the wrong direction and the internal arrangement
didn't look right.
It was installed correctly and while the bulb's internal parts
seem odd to me it didn't look to be a manufacturing flaw.
So I wondered. Is this even the correct bulb?
Sorry but no... You need a DFC. Instead you have a DEK.
The required bulb code is stamped into the projector
housing (just above the bulb). Someone made a mistake.
Both are 500w, have blue tops, the same glass and the same pin arrangement.
It's an innocent error.
I checked my projector's bulb code. It's a DCA. Since our projectors
are so similar I expected the bulbs to be the same. But they're not. bye.
