I shot this CONVERGE 2026 show (link below) using my old iPHONE13. Brought back so many fond memories of me playing all-ages NYC day shows at CBGB's and also so many gigs at the infamous Kingshead Inn (Norfolk, Va). So many ppl would think that this level of intense hardcore music, in which the lyrics & vocals are indiscernable, comes from dumb kids...the reverse is the truth. All four members are literally brilliant, all are DIY innovators of their own recording equipment and home studio gear ( i.e. God City Studio, GCI God City Instruments, Jammer humbucker guitar pickups, The Brutalist Jr. PCB distrotion pedal, Deathwish Inc. indie record label, Atomic! ID art & design company) and one member is even a certified bio-engineer. I was introduced to CONVERGE back when their landmark album JANE DOE was released, and indeed that record remains a masterpiece of this genre of punk hardcore music. I loved shooting every second of this show the other night, these guys are now in their early 50's! Crazy how time flies! SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC! bye and enjoy ...
