I used to set-up daily rehearsals for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts back when I worked as a techie at S.I.R. (Studio Instrument Rentals) on 25th street in Chelsea. Just ran into a guitar pick that Joan threw at me for not getting her a Snickers bar during her break at S.I.R.'s in-house candy machine. Bjork was practicing shrill vocal pitch scales alone in the Ladies Room with a kazoo the entire night. Such great times.
