I used to set-up daily rehearsals for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts back when I worked as a techie at S.I.R. (Studio Instrument Rentals) on 25th street in Chelsea. Just ran into a guitar pick that Joan threw at me for not getting her a Snickers bar during her break at S.I.R.'s in-house candy machine. Bjork was practicing shrill vocal pitch scales alone in the Ladies Room with a kazoo the entire night. Such great times.

Thank you NYSCA for 2021 grant award!

I was notified today of a 2 year NYSCA grant that I have been awarded for film arts.

( I had only applied for only 1 year of art project funding, and I got 2! )

No words.  NYC arts are coming back -  hardcore.   

Thank You, New York State Council on the Arts, NYSCA !
