Last night’s dueling town halls on the NBC and ABC networks were haunting. Anchors are behaving more like adversaries than ‘fair and balanced’ arbitrators of public reporting. Terrifying to see happen in real-time. Almost as terrifying as seeing Twitter and Facebook edit the public’s open forum online discourse. And, who exactly is the mass media calling a tyrant? Yikes.
