Very cool that Chancellor Merkel brought a Roma representative (Romani Rose who’s grandparents were murdered in German camps) to Auschwitz with her to speak. She’s done a good job at mending the wounds of her country’s history - sometimes to excess actually. So many Romani gypsies were exterminated along with the Jews, Russians and Poles and it’s rarely spoken about. The Roma are the largest minority group in Europe and sadly they are still rarely acknowledged and divided into quasi-residential campgrounds. bye, bye...
