Steven Spielberg is actively campaigning against NETFLIX and feels that NETFLIX films should be nominated for EMMYS and not OSCAR awards (i.e. ROMA), as they do not even include END CREDITS at the end of their original movies. It's an interesting raging debate that's in kin with our history's - Celluloid vs. Digital war, but the Catch 22 in all of this is that NETFLIX at the moment is producing interesting, edgy and original films & new filmmakers using a higher ground soap-box that aging film industry companies would never in a million years dare to touch. The entire NETFLIX situation is kinda gettin crazy now as they have been banned from screening anything at CANNES, yet they still plow foward making more and more of their movies, while dominating the street and internet advertising market despite all of the blowback. NETFLIX might just be the new AOL dressed up in sheeps clothing. So....what ever happened to AOL, are you wondering? Exactly. They evolved.
