Objectivism holds that man has free will. In every moment, many courses of action are open to us; whichever action we take, we could equally well have chosen to do something else. ... Because we are free to choose, we need moral standards to guide our actions and we can be held morally responsible for what we do.  bye.

F.A.C.E.M.A.S.K.S. 2.0.2.0.

This is the easiest and quickest way to make a face mask (Image credit: CDC) You will need:   Bandana or scarf 2 x elastic or rubber bands, or hair ties A coffee filter, paper towel or kitchen roll (optional) The easiest method for making your own face mask involves folding a bandana or a scarf. Note that you need to choose the right bandana or scarf. Hold it up to the light to see how much you can see through it. The less you can see, the better; if the material is too thin then your face mask won't be as effective. Tightly woven, 100 per cent cotton is best if you can find on sale at Target (be careful for Karen's). The CDC recommends folding your bandana in half, then folding it again twice – lengthways from both the top and the bottom. At this point, you can also add a square piece of coffee filter, paper towel, rubber ducky or kitchen roll to your mask – which you can change. Then, place your rubber bands or hair ties around your strip of material, and fold the material in towards the middle, tucking the ends into each other if possible. Forget all of the above and ask for a free one at CVS. Make life easier, cuz it's(LIFE) short as hell.  bye.

Covid-19 Kills Michael Myers 2020

zoom zoom zoom.

Experienced an amazing reading/critique for one my short stories with a group of writers via ZOOM. Some highlights of the many things said were as follows... almost everyone who commented felt immediately a need to tell me how honest the piece was. One woman stated that although the material was not something she usually would choose to read, she felt safe reading the story, remained engaged and mid-way into reading my work she felt a need to 'Google' me, which moved me and blew me away, too. In general the style of what I do was discussed regarding stream of consciousness and the truncated use of prose (like poems) in addition to the incoherence of a conventional structure of narrative storytelling technique. My use of 'submersion' by physically integrating myself into the material was compared to Method Acting, and the use of an actual typewriter to write the story (with all of the unintended typos) was explained and the group felt like the story could easily be presented as a hanging fine art piece in a museum gallery setting. The story's 'unreliable narrator' also came into discussion and I never was able (or desired) to reveal to narrator's true identity making the story's end, like poetry, open to multiple interpretations.

Phase 4: Coming

When does Phase 4 begin? It could begin as early as July 20 if everything goes to plan. New York State has been monitoring whether New York City meets seven health-related benchmarks. Basically, hospitalization and infection data must not show that more people are being infected with the virus than hospitals can handle. If those markers remain in check, as they are right now, and international experts determine its best to move forward, then NYC will continue though the reopening plan. The New York Forward Plan establishes a minimum of two-week intervals between a region's transition from one phase to the next. As a result, since Phase 3 began on July 6, it's likely we'll begin Phase 4 on July 20. What will reopen? Higher education: Community and junior colleges, universities, graduate and professional schools, medical schools and technical schools. Each school will determine how it will resume classes, so make sure to check in with your respective college. Low-risk outdoor arts and entertainment: Outdoor zoos, botanical gardens, nature parks, grounds of historic sites and cultural institutions, outdoor museums, outdoor agri-tourism, local agricultural demonstrations and exhibitions. (The New York Botanical Garden has already announced that it plans to open under Phase 4, for example.) Low-risk indoor arts and entertainment: Museums, historical sites, aquariums. Each of these will announce their respective opening dates under Phase 4.

The New-York Historical Society, for example, is opening August 14 with an outdoor exhibit. Media production: All activities undertaken in motion picture, music, television, and streaming productions on set, on location, or at any production or recording site. This means we will have new shows and films to watch in the future!

Professional sports competitions with no fans: Stadiums or arenas with professional sports events, except for collegiate sports, horse racing or auto racing. (The US Open is already planned to start on August 31 with no fans allowed.) Museums can open but why aren't they reopening immediately? The Metropolitan Museum of Art, for example, is eyeing an August 29 reopening instead of opening right away on July 20. It'll use that time to prepare its staff and buildings for visitors.

When it reopens, at first, the days and hours it'll be open will be reduced "given the need to provide an environment that respects social distance requirements," and the museum won't have tours, talks, concerts or other events through the end of 2020.

  1. In order to boil a lobster, you will need a large pot with a lid.
  2. Pour enough water in the pot to cover the lobster completely.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of sea salt for every 2 liters (4 pints) of water.
  4. Bring the water to a rolling boil.
  5. Grasp the live lobster from the back drop it headfirst into the boiling water.
  6. Cover the pot and once the water has started to boil again, start timing.
  7. Boil the lobster for 10 minutes for the first 1-lb of weight and then 3 more minutes for each extra pound. A 2-lb lobster will be done in 13 minutes, a 3-lb lobster in 16 minutes.

  9. Wipe your face. Don't get bit if the thing still moves. and ... bye.
